Trent’anni senza Moretti (2021-23)

Thirty Years Without Moretti is a collective archive of images and stories dedicated to the relationship between Birra Moretti, its places, and its community in northeast Italy. Even if almost all activity traces have been lost in Udine and Friuli, Birra Moretti has left an indelible mark: a living relationship. The project involved people sharing memories, objects, photographs, and private documents, creating a collective content of images and stories.

In parallel, I reinterpreted the collected audio and visual content, a selection of which is published online on the archive’s website, to stimulate broader reflection on the relationship between an industrial activity transformed by neoliberalism, its territory, and its community.

A photographic series called I still can see you, representing ten billboards still present in the region, has been created among other artworks.
